Magnus Marthinsen is a tractor and small-engine mechanic that spends most of his time in the countryside. Living a peaceful and beautiful life with animals, fields, forests and of course some interesting machines.
Magnus has a unique project that he has undertaken which required branding which embodied everything we believe in; originality, passion and magic!
He tells us of his woodland tales, exploring the Norwegian forests and telling us of wild flowers and trees with his menacing beast; The 66′ Kelpie Mustang. This immediately influenced the project ~ it needed to feel organic, mythical with a dash of celtic folk-lore. Loving all things mysterious, whimsical & nature related Magnus’ project has been something very close to our hearts. Magnus not only encouraged us creatively but also let us roam free with ideas which as designers is the best feeling in the world. We are very honoured to be part of the project.
Keep your eyes and ears open for something is lurking in the woods later this year…

1966′ Ford Mustang Coupe (Version 3)
After Version 2’s dramatic end. Magnus makes himself and the Mustang ready the final. Inspired by the famous “Hoonicorn Mustang” owned by Ken Block, the wild horse finally reveal itself as the beast, – The Kelpie. A feared horselike creature from Celtic mythology who has been following Magnus for so long taking different shapes. Its a beast of a car that roars through the woods – waking up every living animal from their beauty sleep. The Kelpie Mustang is loud, fast and brutal, and as the legends say: The dark horse will ride you out into the deep waters and kill you, unless you have the special gift to handle it. This version of the Mustang is seen in the last episode of season 1 of “A Woodsman’s Tales”, -“The Spell of The Kelpie”. Where it is portrayed as a symbol of darkness, which can be deafeted by love and goodness.
